General Overview

  • How does ArtyWear work?

ArtyWear is a curated community of the world's best designers. Our platform enables designers to upload t-shirt designs, create their own store, and build a following without having to worry about printing, shipping or customer service. ArtyWear offers the best prices and the highest quality t-shirts on the web. Check it out for yourself.

  • What products can I offer in my store?

Round neck t-shirts, V neck t-shirts, Hoodies and Raglans are available to all designers to print on currently. We plan to offer more products in the near future.

Getting Paid/Pricing

  • How much do I get paid?

We currently offer a flat 10% royalty to all full price sales. For products on sale (20% or more discount), we offer a flat 5% royalty.

  • How do I get my money?

We pay all designers through monthly PayPal transfers. You will receive your commissions the first week of the month for all shirts sold in the previous month. If you have any issues accepting PayPal transfers or don’t receive prompt payment please contact [email protected] 

  • Is there a limit on how many shirts I can sell on ArtyWear?

Nope. Sell as many as you want and create an awesome store!

  • Can I change the price of my shirt?

No. We like to keep things standardized. We bet you won’t find shirts at these prices that pay designers a higher percentage of commissions anywhere on the web.

  • How do I see the sales per shirt?

We have provided you a dashboard after you login where you can see the sales for each shirt.


  • What kind of t-shirts do you print on?

We print on 180-190 GSM 100% Combed Cotton T-Shirts. We believe these are currently the best available t-shirts in the market and they fit comfortably and feel amazing.

  • What is your printing technique?

Shirts on ArtyWear are printed using Direct To Garment, which is a super high tech digital print technique. We have the best machines (Kornit) in the business and ensure an extremely high quality print. Every shirt that leaves our printer is QCd before being shipped to customers.

  • Is there a blank palette I have to choose from?

Yes, you can print your design on as many of the following colors as you like:




  • Can I print on the back of the shirt?

Not yet. For now, we allow just printing on the front.

  • What colors inks can I print a shirt?

That’s the beauty of our print method. We can literally print any CMYK color you can create. No color/ink restrictions at all!

  • What is your return/exchange policy?

Customers can return products within 30 days, no questions asked. Mostly the returns are due to size mismatch issues which we replace with the right size.

Image Requirements

  • Where can I learn about your image requirements?

You can upload 150 DPI or greater CMYK PNG file in onto the website. We’ll use this one file for both printing and your mockups which we’ll automatically generate for you. You CANNOT upload jpgs. 

The maximum printable area on the shirt is 15x17 inches. However, for most designs we recommend using a 13x15 print area.

  • What if I want to upload a design that doesn’t work within your image requirements?

Your design has to work within our image requirements or we won’t be able to print it.

  • Are there limits on how many colors I can use?

No! Go wild.

  • Will any design I submit make it on the website?

Yes anything you submit will be for sale within 72 hours.

  • Can anyone be a designer?

Absolutely. Our design guidelines are intended for more savvy designers who are very familiar with Adobe but we also love work from less experience designers if it’s unique and looks sharp.

  • Are there any content restrictions on designs?

We reserve the right to remove designs we feel are in either extremely poor taste or violate copyright laws. Use your best judgment; don’t steal designs or use copyrighted trademarks and don’t try to offend for the sake of it. Other than that, have fun. In an effort to keep up the overall quality of work on the site we will also take down designs we don’t feel are up to standards.

  • Who retains the rights to the designs I put on ArtyWear and what about Exclusivity?

YOU always retain the rights to all of your work no matter what! Anything you put on ArtyWear stays yours and there is no exclusivity.

  • My original art file is too large to upload. Upto What size is acceptable?

Both your PNG and your original art-file if you choose to upload one must be less than 50MB.

  • What are tags?

When you upload your design to ArtyWear we ask you to assign it one category and a whole bunch of tags. Tags describe your shirt or the theme that your shirt fits into and are very important for sales because they help our customers find your work!

  • Can I add tags to my design after it is published?

You can, just go to your storefront and click on the blue edit button directly to the right of your total shirts sold on the shirt tile.

  • How do I delete my design?

Just reach out to [email protected] and we’ll pull it down for you

  • Can I deactivate my design?

We understand you may have the designs running on other sites and may need to take them down for a certain amount of time but don’t want to lose your sales info. Send us an email at [email protected], we’ll deactivate it and then put it back whenever you’d like.

  • I don’t think my sales are being counted correctly. Can I get a clarification on this?

A sale will only show up on your store page once the design is prepped and the order has been pushed to our printer. Fluctuations and changes in sale totals can also occur from cancelled/returned orders. As always you can always email [email protected] and we’d be happy to clarify.

Printing & Blanks

  • What kind of blank t-shirts do you print on?

We offer male sizes S-3XL and female S-2XL. You can check out our size charts here.

  • What is your printing technique?

Shirts on ArtyWear are printed using Direct To Garment, which is a super high tech digital print technique. We have the best machines (Kornit) in the business and ensure an extremely high quality print. Every shirt that leaves our printer is QCd before being shipped to customers. We also color match and test print most designs when they become permanently for sale on the site.

  • What color shirts do you offer?

Yes. We offer the following colors:





  • Do you offer male and female sizing?

We offer male sizes S-3XL and female S-2XL. You can check out our size charts here.

  • Any particular Washing instructions?

Turn garment inside out. Use cold water only. Use laundry detergent without bleach. Dry in dryer under normal settings. All our tees are made with 100% preshrunk combed cotton knit fabric. Expect about 5-7% (about half a shirt size) shrinkage after normal wash. Wash cold, dry low. Although you should not expect any significant fading, wash colors separately from whites, especially on the first wash.

Shipping & Returns

  • What is your return/exchange policy?

Apparel purchased on ArtyWear is custom made and printed just for you. However, we do understand that sometimes you might have a size mismatch or there is an occasional defect. So, we offer a 30 day exchange policy which covers all defects and sizing issues. Go to our contact page to set up an exchange.

  • What are your domestic shipping terms?

We offer free shipping on all domestic orders. Your products should reach you within 7-10 days. We would have loved to deliver it sooner but since each order is custom made, we need a little bit more time.

  • Do you ship internationally and what are your shipping options?

We don’t ship internationally as yet due to high shipping cost. However, drop us a mail if you’re interested in some products. We will see what best we can do.

  • I just placed my order, how long till it ships?

For many shirts we have to meticulously prep it for our printer to get the best quality possible. Because of this it may take up to 72 hours from the time you place your order till when it ships from our print facility. From then on, it should take about 3 days to reach you.   • I have not received my order yet, now what?

You can track your order using the tracking link mentioned on the top right corner of the website. You can also email us at [email protected]

  • I made a mistake in my order, now what?

Hopefully your shirt has not been printed or shipped, so please email us right away at [email protected] . If your shirt has already been printed and shipped changes cannot be made to your order.

  • Will I be alerted once the shirt prints/ships?

Yup, you will receive a ship confirmation email and SMS from us once it leaves our facilities. If you have any issues please contact [email protected]

Customer Service

  • What are you customer service hours and how do I get in touch?

Customer service hours of operation are from 10am-6pm IST. We’re available at [email protected]  .You will receive a reply within 24 hours of your query. If you’re not satisfied with the response and would like to receive a call back, drop us a message and we will call you back within 24 hours.

  • I really love ArtyWear and want to send you gifts. How do I get in touch?
